2020 Toyota Prius Le?

Looking to trade my girlfriends 2014 corolla for a 2020 Prius Le I saw online at a dealer near me. They're asking for $18k with only 4k miles. She will be commuting 150 miles a day for 5 days a week for school starting 2021, but the deal looked so good I don't wanna pass it up. I have no knowledge on Prius is it reliable do you have to plug it in or just run on fuel? We live in an apartment complex so I can't plug in if that's the case. Seemed like a good deal to me, if anyone can shed some light on this type of vehicle.

Police stop you at checkpoint to check if you’re chipped (aka vaccinated)

Police check the car; let's say 4 people car but signal only from 3; so, police stop it to chip the notyetchipped; signal from 4 now and police let the car go. This is prophecy by saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov. Notice police chip (aka vaccinate) people at gun point in Africa; so, no more "it's not gonna happen here" 'cuz it will soon enough, capisce?

Police do it on highways or when you leave your city... basically, you can't leave your city unless you're vaccinated; but vaccine = mark of the beast; so, escape now while your city doesn't have these rules; forgive me.

Gov't sprays chemtrails so that people feel symptoms of flu

5G will kill vaccinated; just read Georgia Guidestones' commandment of 500 million max population on earth; it fits with Orthodox Christian prophecy of 7 percent of people left

Russian Orthodox prophecy also says that there will be unbearable stench in winter. So, there you go. Russian winters are cold. So, they must have died from the new disease that doesn't have a name 'cuz it's caused by 5G.

martial law; Constitution was suspended; New World Order

read Book of Revelation; Chapters 13 and 14, please

chipped people will be influenced by super computers to receive World Passport (grey plastic card with no name on it), but when they stretch their hands to get it, gov't clerk presses secret button to administer the unforgivable green 666 tattoo by isotope rays

If you escape mark of the beast, then your direct ancestors go to permanent heaven

how to escape it? by hiding within a small group (10 - 15 people according to saints Gabriel Urgebadze and Seraphim of Sarov); no documents; no electronics

Project Pogo = Alex Jones, QAnon, Adam Green, etc. videos are put out so that gov't tracks who watches them. (Project Zyphr annihilates people who watch these videos). Drone with scopolamine will drill a hole in your window at 4 am. Once gassed, you will come out to the police van (waiting for you outside) yourself; you will be taken to underground camp to be tortured for adrenochrome. The rest of the people will be secretly (or even openly) chipped when they sign up for food in closed stores

AI (artificial intelligence aka demons) will post on your social media as if it were you doing it while you're on vacation; it will even make phone calls on behalf of you; no one will notice that you're missing in action.

Source(s): Documents are from Satan; burn all the documents that you can find. Electronics will be used to track you. Even old broken unplugged 1970 TV set will show the evil flying antichrist using Tesla's ether. Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good; always pray the Jesus prayer or to saints who help right away (like saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov according to whom if you reject mark of the beast, then your direct ancestors go to heaven); forgive me.

It isn't your car, so you can tell her about the deal and leave the decision up to her. She already has a car, by the way. It might be better for her to start taking the train, so she can study during the commute. Get her an electric scooter for the"lastmile" to campus. School is expensive enough that she doesn't need to pile another $20,000 debt on top of it. Some people still choose to relocate instead of driving 3 hours a day.

The LE trim is the 2nd from the lowest of 4 trim levels. so it will have a few more features than the base model but not much. Still though it will have all the standard features you'd expect in a modern car.

The Prius is a reliable option. But I would strongly suggest keeping the corolla for college. Her commute will put about 36,000 miles per year on a car and that's over 140,000 miles if she does it for 4 years. So whatever she drives will depreciate to virtually $0 value. Better to do that with a Corolla that's already not worth very much rather than an almost new car that costs $18k.

The Prius might save a little gas, but the Corolla will be cheaper overall. It will depreciate less because its starting at a lower value. It will be cheaper to perform minor repairs because its a simple engine rather than a complex hybrid drive system. She'll probably need a few sets of tires and several other "wear" items over the next few years and those will all be cheaper on the Corolla.

Plus, I don't think you should be getting involved in your girlfriend's vehicle purchases. You certainly should not be cosigning any loans for someone you are not married to.

The Prius is slow and awkward to drive in my opinion. I'm sure you are getting great mileage with the Corolla....I wouldn't spend the money on the Prius.

They are a hybrid - petrol engine plus electric.

The battery system is recharged either by the engine, or by regenerative braking, going down hills and such.

At lower speed or in traffic queues etc., the engine will not be started and it will run purely from the electric system, as long as there is enough power in the battery.

The engine start and stop is totally automatic & computer controlled, so the car drives just the same as any other non-manual car.

[Though as the engine speed does not control road speed, the engine is tuned for certain revs and will often operate at that fixed speed when running, as it gives the best power output for fuel used. That may seem slightly odd to start with].

The Prius series have been around for a long time now and seem pretty reliable, with a good warranty.

I can't be sure on prices and values as they tend to be rather different in the US, to here in the UK.

But, from a quick search it seems very reasonable, as some US dealers are wanting 20K for a 2019 one - though there are different trim versions with different options & new prices.
