If the stock market crashes what will happen to the value of your cash money will the value substantially decrease?

Cash will retain most of its value. (It will lose buying power over a long period of time of course)

A crash is always possible but unless you have all your assets in stocks it should not lead to a depression with all the free money that is being handed out.

wealth does not disappear , it just changes hands . when the market goes down , someone loses money , but someone else MAKES money .
