How do I find information for employee names from business location that's dissolved in 2004 on my own without a lawyer and private investigator because of low income job

maybe the owner(s) would be willing to help you.  likely, however, they haven't many records left by now and will remember only a few people.  then you interview all of those people, looking for the names and contact info of anyone who might have the information you seek

You can't. In fact, after this long, there is a good chance the records can't be obtained WITH a court order.

You don't.  I'm a LICENSED private investigator. When you decide to hire someone, make certain that he/she is LICENSED in your State or else you are throwing your money away.

There is no way.  The previous owner probably doesn't want to be bothered, and he probably threw out all that info.  So the only one who would have that info would be the IRS, and I don't think they can give out that kind of info.

Yes.  Locate the person who owned the business and ask him to show you records.  It's only been 17 years so I'm sure he has them readily available.
