Baseball and soccer are the 2 most popular sports in Japan. And I think Japan is better at baseball than at soccer. And there are some sports which are originated from Japan like judo, sumo and karate, etc

Baseball is the biggest, most popular game - even championship high school games are big.

That would depend on your definition of "popular".  Do you popular in terms of spectators or popular in terms of participants.

Baseball - this has consistently been #1 for more than 50 years.

Sumo wrestling and soccer - these 2 sports have sort of gone back and forth as 2nd and 3rd place in popularity.  Not sure which is 2nd and 3rd these days.

Depending on who you ask and which source you use 4th, 5th, etc. will differ. Sports such as tennis, golf, figure skating, and car racing are some examples that fall in this category.

There are many sports in Japan that although may not have large number of spectators, they do have large numbers of participants or practitioners. Take for example Judo and Kendo. Athletes from Japan do well at the Olympics in gymnastics and ski jumping. Average teens in Japan enjoy baseball, basketball and soccer.
