Yes. It's hard being that young. People still treated me like a teen at 22 because I have always looked younger than what I am. It's annoying. :P

Enjoy it though, because when you reach 51, like me, you'll miss those times. You can do cosplay and play video games and that sort of thing, but over 30 you're expected to act really mature and not do stuff like that.

Also, I know you didn't ask this but it's rather important advice....save as much money as you can for retirement! You don't want to be the 78% of the American population with no retirement savings.

When you're old, often times you don't just have a heart attack and keel over. You can get cancer, heart disease, and a bunch of other things. Things that can require lengthy hospital stays. Half of what you'll get from retirement will be going for household bills. This means you may only have a couple hundred for savings.

A night in a hospital can cost $1,000 or more, depending on the location.

Find a savings system that works for you. It can be a jar system, an envelope system or anything that works for you as long as you save, save, save!

This is stuff I wish someone had told me about when I was 22, or younger. :P

Many will tell you that you are not an adult until you are secure in your life-maybe early 40's. So yeah, you are Young.

    Heck yeah.

I was carded until about 35.

    22?

I didn't drink back then but I wonder if they would've even sold me anything even WITH a legit ID.

Absolutely.  I am 61, and I consider you young indeed.  Your brain has just barely stopped growing - if it, in fact, even has.  You are close to when human growth ends.

If you are average human then your one third life is over.

You are considered a young adult at this point in your life.

People usually consider turning 30 or 40 as when they're officially "older", but even then, I think what changes as you age is how you're expected to act. You might learn how to make fewer mistakes (though you'll definitely still make mistakes) and you might start to be less bothered by inconsequential things, but I really think you can feel as young as you want to at any age.
