Feminism claims to be about equality for everyone. What are some examples of feminism addressing discrimination against men in the US?
Some good answers so far, appreciate your input. Still looking for some definitive examples to support feminists claims.
Foofa - its interesting you claim you want equality given all the discrimination against men in this county, then feminists denigrate MRAs.
Equally good answers from the Anons too.....

"Feminism claims to be about equality for everyone. What are some examples of feminism addressing discrimination against men in the US?"
There are no examples where feminism addresses discrimination against men, properly, on the side of men. It would appear that feminists only fight for men's rights when they are either involved in Human Rights abuses that affect women primarily, or for ultra feminine/girly men, or when any man is in the process of becoming a woman. (Provided the feminist is not a TERF).
In reality, as is evident, feminists will fight for men who tow the feminist line, or are victimized by manly behaviour. In other words, the feminist "help" is still subversive of masculinity and manhood. A perfect example of this subversion in opposite gendered fashion is this:
Imagine there is a "men's rights" group that claimed it was also helping women. It always denigrates and puts down everything that is properly female and feminine. But it does come to the defence of the most promiscuous and immoral woman who hold the values of giving away their sex to men always.
That's the type of help that feminists give men.

I'm "still looking" for "definitive examples" to support your claim that "feminism claims to be about equality for everyone" as that's never been the stated goal of feminism. The very basis of feminism is now and has always been "empowerment for women" without reference to fighting for other groups. Other groups have their own activists.

Nothing. Also, forcing people to serve gays might very well help gay men, but it also robs other people of their rights. I doubt Elana understands this though.
It's also just strange to give feminists credit for any of this anyway since the gay agenda was accomplished on the national level in the supreme court and ruled on by mostly men. Feminists also didn't speak on the issues at all making the claim they are responsible for any sort of victory for gay men just ludicrous.
@Elana: You will have to prove that anything feminists did actually had any effect whatsoever. A lot of men still make fun of feminine men too, so yeah. Go talk to conservative men about girly men and see how far your message went. Yeah, it went no where.
Considering that none of this really started to go forward until after the LBGT message was picked up by the democratic party I would say you will find it pretty hard to manage to make your point. If anything the democratic party seeing political advantage in the LGBT message is what pushed things forward, not any validity in the points being made. Of course, this is how using the state to impose your will on others works. Instead of you being able to argue that people saw your point of view as valid all you can really say is people were forced to obey your will.

Saying feminists support equality for men is like saying the KKK supports equality for blacks. Feminism actively discriminates against men

I've been asking myself this question now on this forum, for over 5 years.
You do, occasionally, find things that help groups within men generally - for instance, feminism has helped homosexual men more than it has hurt them - but for the entire class, I have yet to hear of one.
It usually devolves to the Emma Watts "men face problems too, so they should join feminism and fight the problems that women have". The actual logic is laughably faulty.
That is not to say that feminism doesn't have some major achievements under its belt, but it has lost most of its credibility in the last decade with programs like "Ban Bossy", "Mansplaining" and "Manspreading".
Apparently I need an example of how feminism has helped the gay community: Feminists have been plugging the idea that one shouldn't be discriminated against due to sex or sexual orientation. It hasn't been their top priority, but due to the loudness of their voice and by tying it into actions that directly support women, they have helped get some laws changed.
Similarly, by protesting against the harassment of particularly feminine men (saying that this was re-packaged misogyny), they have been helping homosexual men even if their intent is to talk about how women are mistreated.
The idea that feminism has never done anything useful other than for women is pretty easily disproven. Intent, of course, is harder to prove.

Much of the discrimination against men is a result of feminism.
