2012 Bmw 335i f30 sunroof/moonroof does not open or close. I tried reseting it by pushing up on the tilt button several times and nothing. Did everything the forums said to no conclusion. Trying to figure out if it is the switch or motor. Any info about this would be great thanks.

I tried finding the wiring diagram for the FZD, which is the German acronym for the Roof Function Controller. The big plastic thing with all the buttons. Nobody has posted one. But to check it you need to remove it to get to the wires and use a Test Light to see if it's switching power like it should. You would backprobe the connector. I saw the fuse is in the glove box. Check it with a Test Light, not just pull it and look. You really can't do any Electrical Troubleshooting without at least Test Light. But a bad motor will usually make a dull clunk when when powered up and stuck. If there is no noise the power and ground input and switches are more suspect
