Is a 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan with the 2.4L 4 cylinder a good car to get? ?

Is the engine in it reliable?

Update:

I forgot to mention that it is my sister's car and she just bought it a few days ago but now I'm going to worry about it, do you need something fast and she bought it from a dealership with an extended warranty, the car only has 107,000 miles hopefully that's not too bad

My NIECE has the 200 with the PENTASTAR V6 under the hood! IT is FABULOUS! It has an ITALIAN BODY and GERMAN ZF NINE SPEED TRANS that is the BEST out there! It has SUPEB brakes that last for 100,000 miles at a POP<just like AUDI< BMW and A BENZ.  It has TONS of power and gets EXCELLENT gas mileage! When you want the POWER it is TUCKED in there! SHE has had ZERO issues and it was USED as well! IT is AWD and TRACKS like CRAZY! I found NOTHNG disagreeable in it and was VERY VERY impressed! The ITALIAN body as VERY STURDY and TIGHT! The DOORS close like a VAULT. The SOUDN system is ALSO excellent! They di a GREAT job with it! and CHRYSELR is noted for BAD electrics! I got someone a REBATE on a JEEP COMMANDER for BAD THEF protection! ONCE parked it would MAYTIMES not restart! They ( CHRYSLER ) kept it for WEEK and returned it with a REBATE and an extension for FIVE MORE YEARS on the WARRANTY! The ENGINE in that thing was the VERY VERY BAD 3.7 engine that LOVES to eject ROCKER ARMS>>>>your engien is the TIGER SHARK and is VERY competitive with OTHER car like it! I have NOTHING BAD to d say about the 200 It is BETTER than the 300 as far as TRACTION! It is AWD and my niece just LOVES IT! If you use PENNZOIL ULTRA PLATINUM OIL the engine gets a warranty out to 500,000 miles. so there are NO WORRIES.  The BODY and SUSPENSION feel like  a HARMONY like EURO cars feel! NOT lie a bunch of PARTS tossed together! The REAR is ROOMY and again the BODY feels VERY VERY TIGHT! I was SHOCKED! CHRYSLER ahs been in FLUX a LONG LONG TIME! But they MANAGED to get the RIGHT EUROPEAN suppliers and get BETTER advice! I AM sad that the 200 is NOT made anymore! IT REALLY seems to be a GREAT CAR to DRIVE IN! COMFY and SMOOTHE to ME! I STILL like EURO CARS the BEST and FORDS that are EUROPEAN SUPPLIED like th FOCUS, FUSION< EDGE, and ESCAPE!  ZF supplied the TRANS and the STEERING and MAYBE even the AC to it! IT has ELECTRIC STEERING an MAYBE electric AC! They pulled ALL the stops and SEEM to have done it RIGHT! And I trust FORD the most! They did NOT file for BANKRUPTCY adn in MICHIGAN there are HENRY FORD colleges and many HOSPITALS as well . There are NO BUICK or CHEVY hospitals, OR CADILLAC ones EITHER! LOOK UP the TIGER SHARK engine! it is a GOOD idea on PAPER and most likely a GREAT engine in REALITY!

No. The Chrysler 200 perennially ranked as the worst vehicle in it's class when it was being made. Chrysler discontinued it for good reason. So, the car made it to 107K miles. Expect to start having major issues soon. It might have an extended warranty, but what's the point of a discounted or free repairs if the car's second address is a repair facility? The 200 was a bad idea new, and is a horrible idea used.

That all depends on maintenance records

I believe it was rated as the worst American car made during the years it was produced.  It started life as the CHrysler Sebring, and earned such a bad reputation that they substantially revised it and changed the name to 200. They didn't change it enough.

I have a good friend who had a 4 cyl and it was in the shop all the time and the doors rusted out when it was only 2 years old.  On the other hand, I have a neighbor who has a v6 with 134,000 miles on it - looks like new and she loves it.  I think the best that can be said about them is they are remarkably cheap as used cars.

One of the most un-reliable cars you could buy.

Anything newer than a late 1970's Chrysler anything is unreliable.

According to Consumer Reports, the 200 is incredibly unreliable. Get a Camry, Accord or a Sonata.

THAT DEPENDS ON HOW BADLY IT HAS BEEN ABUSED FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS.
