How can I drive a tractor?

I'm a 18 year old girl, and I've wanted to know what it was like since I was a little kid. I live near a farm and I'm finally getting my chance! But is it difficult? Is it similar to a car in any way? I'll be driving in the farm field (which isn't cleared or planted or anything) so there aren't really any obstacles, but I'm a little nervous.

Yes and no!
While some of the operations are the same, others are different. Not all tractors for example have the throttle attached to a pedal.

Piece of cake. Most farm kids drive a tractor before they drive a car. For that matter, so did I and I was raised in the city.
