Should I turn myself in. What would happen?

This was 4 years ago. I worked for a landscaping company, and we were building a retaining wall, and patio. I think this is because the company didn't what to pay a supplier for the sand, so we took it off the beach. Idk how much, but it was a lot. Lets just say it was 4 dump truck loads. It might have just seemed like that much, because I had to carry it all from the beach. Anyways. I read that doing this can cause coastal erosion problem, and I dont want to be responsible for part of the coast to sink into the water. What should I do?

Go back and see if the hole is till there.  If it is, buy bags of sand at Home Depot and fill it in.
