1970 Dodge Challenger 383 engine bored out .040. What is the cubic inch displacement now?

    Guessing around 400 CID.

    "4.040" bore x 3.75" stroke = 384.569 cu. in so its a 385"

    bore times stroke pulse chamber volume I can't be bothered lookin up the bore stroke and chamber volume right now find your calculator and add .040 to the bore diameter and recalculate.

    Get your calculator.  Bore and stroke should be in inches.  Press the equals sign after each sentence.

    Original bore plus .040.  Multiply the sum by itself.  Multiply by 3.1416.  Divide by 4.  Multiply by original stroke.  Multiply by number of cylinders.
