Can you call 911 if you get locked out of your apartment?
One night i decided to go out to buy something, when i was about to leave the apartment i held the door open and checked myself to see if i had the apartment key, when i checked myself i didn't have anything on me, i left my wallet, my phone and the apartment key on the table, but what if i were not so lucky, what if i had left the key inside the apartment, what could i have done if i were locked out?

Locking yourself out of your home is not an emergency. It's definitely an inconvenience, but call 911 and you might get cited for it. You call your apartment manager or someone like a locksmith or someone with a screwdriver to get the doorknob off for you. You don't call emergency services.

No matter how big an inconvenience it is that is in no way an emergency
Calling 911 for non emergencies can result in fines or a bill
Call the local "Popalock" franchise

That is not a 911 call. It is a call to your landlord, the local locksmith, or the non-emergency police number.

That’s not an emergency. You can call your landlord if you rent. If you own, call a locksmith. The police do not deal with things like that.

NO that is not an emergecy. Your landlord should have an after hours # or call a locksmith.

That's not a sufficient reason to call 911. You'd knock on a neighbor's door and ask them to call your friend or a family member to come and get you. Then you'd use their phone to get a locksmith out.
It's a good idea for someone you trust to have a spare key.
