Transfer case gear oil? Nope. You likely have transmission fluid that should be changed every 3 to 5 years. Read the owners manual. It'll open your eyes.

If it is a 4wd then it has a transfer case. Different manufactures recommend different intervals. It also depends on how the vehicle is used. Your owners manual should list a change interval if it is even needed. My opinion is that is should be change at least at 100,000 miles no matter how you drive. Refer to your owners manual for the interval of your vehicle. It may be from every 15,000 mile to never.
