Never heard of that Option...so it does not exist. If there is no passenger sitting there then there is no reason for the airbag to inflate. There are sensors in the seat.

In the United States it cannot be turned off. However in most modern vehicles it will not activate in an accident if no one is sitting in the passenger seat. In most pickups with no back seat you can turn if off with the key.

Where do you live? Airbag laws are different for each state (in the USA) and country.
