Not much that removal and replacement of a few officers who dipped into NRA funds without authorization and for personal use wouldn't fix. The NRA is an old American organization started in 1871. It is nothing more than Americans who believe in our God given rights to keep and bear arms, who vote and contribute.

Those rights were not "granted" to us by congress you know.

The NRA worked in conjunction with the American director of civilian marksmanship to make sure that the American populace were armed and trained in the use of their arms to provide for the public defense.

The NRA has provided hunter safety courses to American youth for way over 100 years. The NRA provides a legal defence fund to help citizens accused of gun crimes by the govt.

There are now several millions of us and we all vote in elections that threaten our 2nd amendment rights. The NRA has become a powerful lobby organisation that fights against the dismantling of our bill of rights. It often stands alone in this fight.

The NRA is often maligned and slandered by the left as some giant entity that congress is afraid of. That may be true, but it is still nothing more than other Americans who believe in the cause of freedom.

Every gun owner should join the NRA and contribute to the fight to preserve our rights against the radical left who want to defund the cops and disarm the people so they can feel "safe".

They are in denial of all the gun violence, and do not want gun control.

not much from where i sit.  they were a natural progression for me -- i started shooting while in Boy Scouts, liked it, and NRA lets me find others who enjoy this useful pastime.

they were based in NY, of all places. then the leftists started coming after them with lawsuits and threatening any insurance company that would cover the NRA. it got so bad they moved their offices to Texas. which IMHO is where they should have set up shop in the first place.

To many people do not know of what the NRA does, like run the safety hunting coarse for states, many times free of charge too!  Help Police develop training programs, and build safe coarse were they can keep their shooting skills up to par  Also a large number of the membership are police or military back-growns, and then there are people like meself that are third or fourth generation NRA members>  And none of my guns have ever hurt anyone.  So there is a lot of BULL from both the media and the Democrat's that are totally UN-true!

Nothing from what I can tell. Liberals however hate the NRA because they fight for gun rights.

Not a damned thing.  They are PRO-CONSTITUTIONALISTS.

If you don't like guns...then don't buy one.  Simple.
