All of the channels of my new television come in great, but one. sometimes the picture and sound are distorted, other times it is fine.?

Any idea what the problem is.

    If cable or satellite then it's not your tv and you can do nothing about it.

    If it is a antenna channel then you either need to move your antenna or the station is

    having problems.

    If you check the signal strength on the tv you will know for sure.

    If the signal is poor then it's a antenna aiming issue.

    If it's strong then it's likely station issues

    maybe it has lower signal level ....transmitter trouble ....ask neighbors..........................

     maybe it is transmitted from another tower ....

    in that case you need another antenna in that direction ..........................................................

    maybe there is a branch in your coax cable that acts as a band-stop filter ..................

    The problem is not in your equipment or your house.      

    You cannot do anything to correct it.

    If it's cable, call the cable company. The problem is on their end. IF it's free TV, you may need a higher or better antenna. That channel's broadcasting tower may be too far away.
