Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
Would any contributors from the Royalty category be interested in starting a group on another platform once Answers shuts down?
@choko_canyon Does Quora let you start your own groups?
@Royal_Male Quora has been suggested.
@ Anonymous What I like about YA is that not every question has to be deadly serious and most people have a sense of humor. What I envision is a group that still keeps the entertainment value but still has a certain amount of moderation to get rid of the worst trolls that aren't contributing anything and clogging up the category. Perhaps this is an unrealistic dream?
Okay, I'm setting up a new space called Royalty Forever, designed for Answers refugees and anyone else who's interested. Here's the invite link:

No. Trolls ruined Answers. I have no wish to take part in anything that allows trolling.

Not if any of the trolls here would be active on it.
Quora lets people start topic groups, but each group has to have an admin who can reject questions among other things. In other words, trolling such as we've seen here is not welcome in Quora.
They already have some royalty groups. I should also add that most people on Quora use their real names.

I would. But, platforms for free speech are being taken down. YA is one.
I'm also on dlive for a YouTube channel I'm involved with on another topic. It's not moderated. It's by invitation once a server is set up. I'd love to get a look at the people I've been sparring with all these years even though most would probably show up wearing a party mask. But it's not just video chats, you can participate w/o video if you don't want to be seen.

Well all the trolls could go to iamastupidlittletroll.com

Yes, certainly, although don't let DGH or the sevarants troll moderate it.

Were you thinking of any site in particular? Quora, perhaps?
You can form topic-based groups on Quora, but as someone else already mentioned, each such group will be moderated for content. That means that the trolls who dominate the Royalty section will not have a venue for their rank stupidity any longer, sad to say.

Which site were you thinking of?
