Have you ever lived in a motel?

Am right now pretty much haha

I had opportunity so decided to get the hell out of my hometown and was approved for an apartment back in mid march on a lump sum [ not heaps but enough to keep me going for awhile]. I was all set to get the lease and then they decided they wanted a consistent source of income too and I wasn't employed at the time. Now I'm working again but the unit I was going to get went to someone else so I'm awaiting approval again and waitlisted til May right now..which I hope takes off because its ridiculous paying  twice as much for a hotel while a rental agency decides whether or not I can afford a years lease.. which I could have easily paid off in full.

When I was working for the City of Atlanta I would drive 250 miles in the wee hours on Monday morning, go to work, then check into a motel until Friday morning when I would check out, go to work, and then head home for the weekend to see my wife. Basically I lived in a motel Monday through Friday for 9 months before I had enough.

No. Yuk. I hope I never have to live in one.

I'm in one now and my specialist won't get my apartment I'm eligible for so I'm drawing pictures of Linda the RA The Rugged Man because she's Puerto Rican and cute.
