I am hearing that the United States could see immunity by summer. Will the COVID 19 pandemic end?

You should read Dr. Martin MaKary's information in the Wall Street Journal from mid-February.
As of "today", it's appearing pretty legitimate.
However, I don't know how much his assessment is based on the vaccines. The vaccines are proving much less effective and for a shorter time period than anticipated. It's potentially a situation where the people who were vaccinated in December will need to get re-vaccinated (if that is even possible) in June.
Dr Makary was a Surgeon General nominee under Obama and a surgeon at Johns Hopkin medical center. He isn't some no name that doesn't know what's going on.

No. That's highly unlikely, because there are way too many people who are refusing to get vaccinated. That's the legacy Donald Chump has left us with. 😡
