Do you still eat Subway from time to time or did Jared ruin it for you?

I do not eat at Subway.   Their food is low quality, especially the bread.

There was a Subway next door in the building where I work for 20 years and they finally went out of business.  There are at least four really good deli and bakery places within a one block radius where one can get a five times better sandwich for about $1 more than Subway - and support local small business too.

Just yesterday I had a bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion and Jarlsberg Swiss on toasted rustic sourdough for $10.   It was so big I split it with my work buddy.    Subway can SUCK IT.

Subway bread is chewy, not crisp.

    Tastes almost stale.

    HAHAHA, OUCH.

Jared is actually a product of society, and marketing gone wrong.

I don't think Subway has a product better than the others to ever recover from having a Child Sex Offender as their spokesperson?

I'll keep buying Cousins, Suburpia and Jimmy Johns!!!

As a retired chef, I would rather go without a meal (my waistline would thank me) than buy Subway.

Jared didn't mess it up for me. My wife and I had a friendly relationship with the manager of a local Subway and we had lunch there once or twice a week. One day we went in and he was swamped (scheduling employees was part of his job) and he asked us to go away and come back an hour later. I happen to think it is incredibly stupid to ask loyal customers to bail you out when you have created a bad service reputation. We left, but didn't come back in an hour, or a week, or so far ever. You reward superior loyalty with deferential service, not with denial of service. I thought he went too far, and have avoided his store and the Subway brand for the last three years.

Was he the guy that had every sauce and nothing else on his sandwich?
