Should I feel ashamed for working at Walmart?
It's the only job I can get. I have applied to hundreds of jobs and went to so many interviewers and no one else hired me except Walmart who hired me on the spot. I like working here.

If you can cover your expenses without taking any public benefits you're doing better than a lot of people.

Only if your parents spent $100.000 US currency so you can finish your Master degree in medical doctor. Maybe you should help the covid19 patients instead of helping old ladies at Walmart.
Otherwise..... you are ok at this time of the year.... what kind of jobs did you apply?

Beggars can’t be choosers. Your job does not define you. Better to work and make an honest living than to be a leach on your family, the government or who ever else. As long as the economy comes back, things will improve. It’s easier to get a new job when you have one already.
If you want to advance in Walmart, then find out how to do that and move up the hierarchy. After all sh1t rolls down hill. If you want a different line of work, then do well at Walmart, learn what skills you need for the job you want and once you have them for for that job. Or maybe start out part time in your chosen field till you have experience and can get something full time.
Good luck!

nah bro. the only people who look down on those who work 'lesser' jobs are imbeciles who've had almost everything handed to them their whole life and can't comprehend that grocery workers are important. congrats on your new job. im glad you enjoy it

you should be proud. many people are unemployed. many people work at walmart and after a few years, make very good money. it is also good work experience. walmart is reality. it is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Nahhh. But, it's Even better if you can get a college degree and go into a specific field which will make it way easier to get a better job

Never feel ashamed of your job. I was a janitor when I first started and I have never regretted it. And it's great that you like the job...keep it.

No. I think that someone can and should feel proud of any job well done. It's the people making big bucks and it still isn't ever enough that should be ashamed of themselves.
