What do people expect from animated movies?
Like the opposite of most bad Disney/Pixar movies and some bad Dreamworks/universal movies, how can one make the best animated movie of all time
Like The Lion king, Wolf walkers, Secret of kells, Ponyo, How to train your dragon and The Iron Giant

I Love old fashioned hand animation. Like, Jerry Mouse dancing with Gene Kelley. Or, "Yellow Submarine"

They expect a good movie, whether it's live action or animated, or even a movie that combines both. They may expect animated movies to take advantage of the fact that anything is possible in an animated world, and that they're not limited by the laws of physics.

The taste of people is too different to generalize and to get guidelines here. Furthermore, you either need to do some research yourself and give your task to an agency to do that for you (and pay them). You could start with comparing the most successful animated movies at the box office. Good luck!
