What you are speaking of is an assurance of your faith in Christ. That's throughout the Bible. Judging refers to discernment, while condemning belongs only to God. Matthew 7:1-3 refers to judging without the use of a double standard. 

It says "Judge not, lest ye be judged," but some Christians sure do love to get judgy.
