Safety of PPI Use?

I am an active 27 year old male who is in shape, with no other health issues other than acid reflux which developed a few months ago. I've been taking omeprazole 20mg every day for about two weeks now (out of a four week course of treatment). I am concerned about adverse effects on my kidneys, as there have been multiple peer-reviewed studies which confirm that PPI use can produce adverse outcomes on kidney function and even induce CKD.

Am I being paranoid? Is a four week course negligible? Thanks in advance for your response.

I've been taking Omeprazole for years! But in order to avoid is much drugs as possible. And chemicals in the body you should deal with the root issues.

If you're getting acid reflux start eating or drinking papaya juice or swallowing papain tablets eat more pickles and sauerkraut.

But I'm 60 years old I've been taking omeprazole for 10 years and it hasn't killed me yet
