Struggling and not feeling the same after smoking marijuana for the first time ?
Hi I’m 20 , in college and work a part time job. I smoked for the first Time 5 days ago , and the feeling was awful , I was dizzy , nauseous, felt like I was going to pass out while at the same time My heart is pumping so fast , it was the worst feeling in the world , I thought the effects were going to wear off after a day but ever since then , off and on I’ve been getting the same feelings but worse , it happens out of know where while I’m completely sober, I’m thinking it may had something to with my pre-diabetes so I call 911 , they give my discharge papers and tell me that there is nothing wrong with me. In my mind I’m doubting it. At this point idk what to do and I hate feeling like this, My blood pressure would sky rocket as well as my heart rate , my heart is pounding like it’s about to just escape from my chest. I would get a temporary paralysis for like a quick second and a half. I just don’t feel good. Is there anything I can do to stop this feeling.

That is not that uncommon, it will pass if you don't smoke it again, but can last weeks or months. And maybe you should explore those feelings

Nowadays people that sell marijuana have found that you can take this cheap artificial cannabinoid the same stuff that they spray on the spice and give the marijuana a little shot of that stuff before they sell it. The object of course is to make the marijuana much stronger and much addictive.
When I came out I have seen people smoke this artificial cannabinoid and pass out and fall on the ground and then when they come back they're not right for a whole month.
If you're going to smoke weed make sure the weed you're getting grew in your own backyard and nobody's put artificial cannabinoid on it.
Nowadays you have no idea what you're buying off of the street. And of course the drug dealer will swear to you that it hasn't been sprayed.

Sounds like anxiety, not a bad medical reaction to the marijuana.
I had a bad reaction to pot the first time I smoked it, but I threw up and then broke out in hives. I'm convinced the reaction was psychosomatic -- anxiety-based -- but I've never smoked it again.
The other weird thing is that I smoked regular cigarettes back then, and they tasted strange for weeks.
If this doesn't clear up, see a doctor for a full check-up. If everything's OK, medically speaking, make an appointment with a therapist.

Maybe it was just the first time you really saw yourself as vulnerable and now you can't get over it and feel like you could suddenly die or be overwhelmed at any moment. The key to getting over it is to stop giving a crap if you die. yoloooooooo

Since you haven't built-up a tolerance for the drug, you could possibly notice effects for 30 days - even more. Of course, it will show-up in drug tests for months. Congrats.
