Why is Yahoo Answers still awarding points if they are shutting down?

    Points can still be Given out Before the Shut down BeginsΒ

    It would be an automated system. But they stopped deducting points for asking questions some time ago.

    I think there's just some automated system that gives and deducts points. It would be a useless hassle to disable it because other than a lack of points, nothing will change.
