Ramadan: is the stock market haram?

It is an investment you either lose money or gain.

    No, I do not believe so, stock market is a life saver for retirement investors; So long as you pay zakat out of the profits. Obviously, one should consider what they invest in.

    You bet your money @ where your mind is...

    Just look at the symbols on your currency

    And read

    “In God we trust” 

    In which “God”

    It’s shirk which can’t be forgiven

    Why would it be haram? It's not gambling. You're investing money in something that you've studied and know that will pay off... right?? Also, concerning "haram", you do realize that all that you have to do is basically check whether something is pushing you away from God, right? How is investing in the stock market pushing you away from Him exactly? But if you have doubts, and your actions don't come from faith, then it is sin.
