Key stuck in ignition ?
2012 Chevy Impala ltz key is stuck in the ignition and no lights (except check engine light) comes on. Also when I tried to hook my jump box up to the battery, the alarm went off. What could this be be ??

Check if your shifter is in Park.

Did you try to remove the key while the jump pack was hooked up and the alarm went off? Are you sure the shift lever is all the way in the PARK position?
