My 77 year old mum hasn't had her second vaccine yet?
Shall I chase the GP surgery up, as other people she knows has had theirs.

I would be extremely careful then as people, especially older people, are still dying from this. The Pandemic is still very much alive.

Most protection actually is from the first shot and the second is a booster, which means in some cases, the first wasn't enough, but for the majority, the first provides protection from death by COVID-19.
