Is it normal for my legs to hurt and feel tired all the time when working a retail job 40 hours a week?

I'm pretty much on my feet 8 hours a day for 5 days a week and I come home and all I want to do is sleep.

make sure you are wearing Good supportive shoes- they are a Must.

Unless required for dress code forget about "Fashion"-- You Need Function!

Arch or foot supports and compression socks are also ideas.

Epsom Salt Foot baths after work.

You might try wearing compression socks to stimulate blood flow in the legs and find some time to sit or walk briskly, such as a walk at lunch to rejuvenate the blood flow. What you're suffering is very common. Also, do NOT wear cheap shoes; they can really hurt you in the long term.
