Can nominal interest rate be lower than the real interest rate?
It does not make sense for nominal to be lower than real, except I encountered this on a 4th year university test (as two given values).

The numerator grows by one with each term, and the power of the denominator grows with each term, so i can't solve it using geometric series. What can I do?

3 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology9 years agoWhat is a good ancient classic story or text to read first?
I have never read anything older than Shakespeare, and I would like to explore the classics. I'm open to reading plays, stories, even philosophies from the ancient times. I can handle big words, but I don't necessarily want to have to dwell on every sentence. I only made it through about a page of Plato's Republic.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoIn statistics, why can't the p-value be calculated manually?
In my textbook, there is always a disclaimer (for excel users), when an exercise question asks for the p-value. Oh, and I just started working on Student-t distribution (t statistic), not Normal distribution (z statistic).
