  • Microsoft word problem?

    Hi,

I have Microsoft Word 2003, and something has recently changed in it's behavior. I don't know what I've done, or what I need to do to change it back to normal.

Here's the previous behavior; this would occur after I have typed out some text already. When I would click to the right side of the page, to the right of the text, the cursor would then move to the end of the line, just after the last character on that line.

Now, when I click to the right of a line of text, Word will select and highlight that entire line. (it doesn't select the sentence, nor does it select the paragraph, but just that line of text.)

The only way I can move the cursor to the end of that text line without selecting that entire line is to carefully place the mouse pointer exactly after the last character in the line.

How can I get the old behavior back?

  • Will this motherboard & PSU work together?

    Hi,

I'm installing a new Motherboard into my old desktop. This new Mobo has an 8-pin ATX 12V Power connector socket. The PSU only has a P4 plug

Are these parts incompatible, or is there some type of adapter available for the 8-pin connector?

    Here's the Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

    Here's the Power supply: http://www.coolmaxusa.com/productDetailsPower.asp?...

  • Homophobes: What did the gays do to hurt you?

I'm curious as to why many people are so hostile towards homosexuals. If you hate gays, can you explain specifically how a gay person has had a negative affect on you personally.

If you were molested by your priest, I understand completely. However, other than that, I can't imagine why people have such a hard time with them.

Please skip any answer that involves you simply following instructions that you should hate gays, just specific examples that you have been personally involved in.

  • Why do snowboarders block the way?

I often see snowboarders sitting in the run. It wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't sit side by side, blocking the road. the same group could stop above each other on the side of the run.

Why don't snowboarders move to the side of the trail when the stop and sit down?

  • Does this electronic device exist?

I’m hoping someone can give me a name for this type of part, so I can locate one at Radio Shack or some other electronics store.

I’m building a project that requires an automatic switch of sorts. This will reside within an electric circuit that carries 12 volts DC.

    1. When power is supplied to the circuit, the device will allow current to flow normally for a brief time (around 10 seconds or so).

    2. After this delay, the device will automatically open the circuit, and keep it open as long as there is current available

    3. When circuit is no longer available the switch will close itself again.

    Was that clear?

    Thanks
