Lemonade diet??

Has anyone here tried the lemonade diet/master cleanse. I know the disclaimer says that it is not actually a diet, but a detoxifying system with the pleasant "side effect" of weight-loss. Does it really work? Do you feel super-hungry?

Please only answers from people who have tried it.

I could never drink the drink, which tasted awful to me. I would definitely make a sample drink to test if you could drink it for ten days. I never lasted that long.

I knew a guy who did the master cleanse for the whole month of February each year. He'd lose 40 pounds, but by May or June he would have gained it all back.

Also, consider the salt water flush that is required as part of this fast is really uncomfortable.

A co-worker tried something similar and lost like 10 lbs. in maybe less than a week. The first three days he was starving an in a horrible mood. After that he got used to it and he was very happy with the results. It been like six months now, and he gained all the weight back (I'm not telling him that)

I think if it's not done the old fashioned way, you're bound to gain it all back. I started working out in January, and have lost close to 20 lbs!
