  • Been on generic Alesse for years, suddenly have tender breasts.?

I have never had any side effects from this pill which is why I like it. Suddenly, on my second week of active pills for the month, my breasts are very, very sore. I am freaking out because my bf and I just broke up and I have been on antibiotics for my skin. I know antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of BCP's. Is it possible that the pill could be causing the breast tenderness? I have been pregnant once before and this is a very scary de ja vu kinda feeling. They are more sore now than they ever get during the week before my period. :( I can't have a baby with this guy!! I am freaking out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • Did I have a panic attack?

I experienced something extremely terrifying last night that has been bothering me all day. I was sitting in my room watching tv and eating cereal. I wasn't feeling upset or unhappy at the time. Suddenly, my face got numb and my vision went blurry. I felt like my throat was closing up and my heart was pounding so hard I thought I was having a heart attack. I actually thought to myself that I was going to die. I was about to run to my mom's room and wake her up because I couldn't breathe and truly thought I was going to die. After about a minute of this, my breathing returned to normal, but my heart continued to beat hard and I started sweating and then got really cold. Anyway, I was convinced that I had a mini-stroke or something. I didn't know what to think. But I told my mom about it today and she said maybe it was a panic attack. But wouldn't I need to be upset or something? Do they just happen out of the blue like that?

  • I keep having strange and scary premonitions lately.?

For the past 2 or 3 days, I keep having thoughts that I am going to get hurt badly. It seems to be centered on driving my car. I have never experienced anything like this and I don't necessarily believe in premonitions. However, it really is scaring me and bothering me. When I have these thoughts, I get quick but vivid images of myself getting hurt badly and I can almost feel it. Any thoughts on what might be going on with me?

  • Did anyone see Scarborough Country last night?

Did anyone else love how he owned that Joan Walsh lady from Salon.com? He looked like his head was going to explode.

  • Nintendo DS?

I am thinking about buying a Nintendo DS. Anyone here who owns one... Do you like yours? Is it worth the price? Also is there a difference between Nintendo DS Lite and just a Nintendo DS or are they they same thing?

  • Should John Walker Lindh's sentence be commuted?

Given that David Hicks got a 9-month sentence and their charges were practically the same? Objectively, do you think that this reflects an imbalance of justice?

  • A question about lizards....?

I live in the desert in the West Texas town of El Paso... I have lived here most of my life. But recently, I have noticed these little, tiny lizards in my house. Some of them are only 1 inch long or so and the biggest one I have seen is about 3-4 inches. They are a coral color, almost orange. They are really cute and everything, but does anyone know what they might be and should I be concerned about the recent influx of them appearing in my home? I thought they might be geckos, but I thought geckos were more of a tropical lizard (I could be very wrong!) I try to get them out, but they are so quick!

  • Do I have a case?

A couple of years ago I filed a sexual harrassment complaint against a male coworker. I received a letter from my boss that they had investigated it and that they agreed the behavior was questionable, but not grounds for termination. (He touched my breast)! A week later, I got fired for a bogus reason. They accused me of stealing, which of course I did not do. Now I come to find out that my former boss recently was fired from that company for sexual harrassment! Is this reason enough to prove that my firing was retaliation for filing sexual harrassment?

  • Lemonade diet??

Has anyone here tried the lemonade diet/master cleanse. I know the disclaimer says that it is not actually a diet, but a detoxifying system with the pleasant "side effect" of weight-loss. Does it really work? Do you feel super-hungry?

Please only answers from people who have tried it.

  • Is she too young for him?

    Hi...

I have a cousin who just turned 18. I recently found out that his new girlfriend is 14 and still in Middle School. I can't help but feel very uncomfortable with this situation. I think back to when I was a kid and I would have never even considered dating a 14-year-old when I was 18. Is there a double-standard for boys?

  • Billy the Kid...?

There is a plan to possibly exhume the bodies of Billy the Kid and his mother to do some advanced DNA testing. Many of the legislators in New Mexico oppose this idea. Since there has always been a sort of debate as to whether Billy the Kid was really killed when history says he was, they want to find out for sure.

My question is: Do you think it is historically important to find this out or is it just to satisfy curiosity?

  • Question for Dachshund owners...?

I have a little male black and tan dachshund. I found him about a year ago emaciated and scared next to the dumpster by my apartments. Well, he has turned out to be a really sweet little guy, but I can tell whoever had him before me was mean to him. He is really afraid of people (particularly men).

My question is, for other folks who have dachshunds... do your doxies sleep a lot? It seems that is all he does, but he doesn't seem depressed and he is only about 2 years old now. I have read that Dachshunds tend to be very hyper and high-strung, but this guy sure isn't! The only time he gets hyper is when he is left alone. He seems to have severe separation anxiety. Do any of the characteristics I have described jive with your pet?

  • Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children?

Okay, so my village consists of 15 people so far. I have the crops, but I don't have enough tech points to get the algae out of the ocean to catch fish. The problem is... I am running out of food! I have noticed that the crops take longer and longer to grow and I am afraid my villagers are going to starve and die! I also have no coconuts at the moment.

Does anyone know how long it takes for villager to die if they have no food? I am basically trying to find mushrooms to keep them alive, but there just aren't enough of them. I still have 100 minutes until new crops and I don't want to have start the game all over again. Any ideas, tips, advice?

  • Is it rude to speak another language around someone who doesn't?

I live in a border town in Texas. I just moved here and I do not speak Spanish. I go to a local college and have noticed that while I am working in groups with my classmates, they often begin speaking Spanish even though they are all capable of speaking English. I feel awkward reminding them that I don't understand them and sometimes I really get angry. It seems to me that this would be rude to most anybody. Am I wrong?

  • A question about cigarettes...?

My mother has told me it is not lady-like for a woman who smokes to smoke cigarettes with brown filters. They must be white filters. Has anyone else ever heard this?

(Please don't answer that smoking itself is not lady-like because that is not what I am asking).

  • Why do some religions try to convert people?

NOTE: I am not being antagonistic! I really want to know!

Why do some religions feel like it is their place to try and get people to believe what they believe? Some religions don't do this at all, while others do it all the time? Don't they understand it is rude and annoying?

  • I don't want to have children... is that odd?

I feel like a major part of my dating dilemma is that I am honest when I tell people I am not interested in having children. I didn't realize that so many men want to start families. I am also one of the only women I know who does not want to have children. I feel like I am abnormal... anybody here feel that way?
