Can you direct me to a work-at-home job site that is not a scam?

I think it is safe to say that ALL the "work-at-home" sites that promise easy money with little time or effort without any specifics about what the heck it is you will be doing or require you to spend money to get started (i.e. to buy the "kit", "program" or to "show you are serious") are SCAMS. period. as the old saying goes "if it sounds too good to be true, it is probably not true". you will get burned no matter how genuine or sincere the offer seems to be ... especially if they try to convince you they are not a scam.

on the other hand, if you have some real skills (anything from editing, computer programming, language translation, website design, etc.) you might find legitimate work with good compensation on one of the many "freelance" sites you can find using Google (be careful about useless and scam sites in this catagory as well ... but at least there are a number of genuine ones). Names that come to mind are "www.elance.com" and "www.rentacoder.com" but I am sure that is just the tip of the iceberg.

rembember ... there is no such thing as a free lunch (and even if there ever was ... you would only find out about it after all the food was gone)

There are work at home jobs out there but you really have to search for them. I have worked for some of them. Surveys is not going to make you money and if someone promises you a lot of money quickly be sure to run fast. Don't pay to work for anyone. There are more than the one mentioned. You aren't going to make a lot of money but you do get to stay at home. Laurie

There are many opportunities of working at home and earning through internet.
