C! Magazine rates the fuel consumption of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac at 5-6.1 kilometers per liter on mixed driving.

    Engine displacement is 5.4L

Comments? Other than fuel consumption, it's a great pickup to use. Big bed, big interior, decent OE audio entertainment, bright OE lighting.

Steering is typical pickup (a bit stubborn, blunt in feedback) but the suspension is not that bouncy, unlike the Japanese pickups. Off road, its a torque monster.

Long term, parts are a bit hard to find (best place to go for parts is are the different Ford dealers in the country) but in Quiapo and Ongpin (in Manila) there are certain shops that can get original Explorer Sport Trac parts probably P5K-P7K less than dealer price.

As far as I know, it's the same there as in the states and only comes with a 4.0 Single overhead cam engine

Pretty much a good vehicle..some had issues with transmission but over all haven't had issues with them

US government rates it at 11liters/100km highway and 16liters/100km in the city for the 4x2 model...

4x4 was worse in the city (highway rating was same) with 17liters/100km in city
