Weird blob inside citrus fruit?
I just peeled a clementine type of fruit, and when I broke apart the segments, there was a weird clear jelly-like blob inside. Is this just some sort of build up of pectin? Is it safe to eat?

yes u can eat it.but maybe your body will react to it.so better just discard the fruit.or not just cut that part out and chow it.

its safe to eat but to be sure stay away. sounds like the fruit might have a fruit fly in it. possibly. i know a fair share about fruit. it wouldn't taste very good. mushy

Ewwww gross! I say when in doubt throw it out,I wouldn't even chance eating it!
