My dog is having surgery tomorrow?

She was diagnosed with mast cell tumor and she's having surgery to remove it from her left leg to see if it has spread. Do anyone know what I should expect? I'm really worried and nervous. It hurts me to see her in pain or not feeling well. Emotionally, it really hurts. I want to be able to take care of her without breaking down. Please help!

Go to the health food store and Cell Forte with IP6. It will help her to fight the cancer.

And I know what you mean. My dog just had minor surgery the other day and I hated to even leave her there. Once I got her home, we curled up together as she slept off the anesthetic.

But know that she will get better once she has this removed. A friend had to have his dog's entire back leg removed because of bone cancer. The vet said his dog would live about six months after the surgery. He lived for five more years and fathered a litter of puppies before he passed away at age 13 (old for a German Shepherd).

Just keep a good attitude and be strong for her. She won't mind a few tears but think about how worried you would be if you woke up and your mom was sobbing over your sick bed. Keep a good attitude and she will too. She can read your feelings so you need to be calm and matter of fact. Don't encourage her to feel bad.

And dogs have a much higher threshold of pain than we do. So try not to think how you would be feeling if it were you.

Right now, she needs you to be strong for her. Don't baby her, just love her.

You sound like an incredible canines proprietor! the 1st element you could bear in mind is that canines do no longer think of approximately issues like us. words like maximum cancers have not have been given any meaning on your canines....however you could desire to observe your emotions around your canines as quickly as she come domicile from the Vet the following day. Be loving, comfortable and save your atmosphere comfortable so as that she does not stress her stitches. Overdoing your concerns will scare her and make her act irritating. she would be in a position to be feeling greater desirable in some days. Have an E collar reachable in case she desires it, yet do no longer use it devoid of seeing her artwork on the incision website. supply her a kiss from me, sturdy success.
