If you are using ZoneAlarm it's a conflict with the latest Microsoft update.

Change the internet level from high to medium.

If not, it's probably the same problem and you'll have to look at changing settings in your firewall program.

    Hey there Jenny,

I was once with Virgin Media and I do recall this problem. I had two computers using the internet through one cable modem. I simply had Internet connection on one computer and the other one connected to the computer with the internet which allowed it to send packets.

If you have two or more computers doing the same thing, then you must purchase a router. I did and it solved it.

If you only have the one computer, then I don't know how to solve it I'm afraid. You could try calling Virgin Media, I did and that's how I found out I needed to purchase a router.

It is possible that your Firewall is blocking those sites, Disble that and then try to log on to web site

If that does not work the delete the Caches, Cookies and Reset the Web settings of your browser

If that still not work then you might need to Re register the Secure link in windows and for that : -

Click Start, Run, type regsvr32 softpub.dll Click ok and wait for the OK message. (Note that there is a space between 32 and S)

Then perform the same with the following.

    One by one after OK.

    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    regsvr32 wintrust.dll

    regsvr32 initpki.dll

    regsvr32 dssenh.dll

    regsvr32 rsaenh.dll

    regsvr32 sccbase.dll

    regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll

    regsvr32 slbcsp.dll

    regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll

I'm having the same problem on both IE 7 and Firefox. Don't know what causes it.
