How do i get a cut cantaloupe to ripen?

I bought an organic cantaloupe at the market today (great price 69c each), and some imported proscuitto and thought i was going to have a great lunch, but when i got home i cut into the cantaloupe and it wasnt quite ripe enough....now its in half covered in plastic in my fridge, is there any way to get it to ripen so i can eat it before it goes bad?

    No, sorry. Cutting into it was like pulling the pin on a grenade. The clock is now ticking as far as that melon is concerned.

    Too bad, sounds like it would have been a great lunch.

    No. Cut canteloupe won't ripen.
