if the two terms you need to connect are 'environment' and 'crimes' you could decide on one of these five ways to make your report. That is whether to focus on

1.large scale global crimes: for example major transnational companies ignoring local laws about destroying forests/exceeding carbon emission quotas/endangering animals through hunting or destroying their habitats etc/ OR

    2. local small scale everyday life 'crimes': exceeding legal water consumption levels in drought areas/needlessly driving everywhere thus unnecessarily creating unnecessary carbon emissions/failing to recycle paper etc/

3.get together a small questionnaire about these two different sets of 'crimes' and then use it for a test of how people judge these actions as crimes and report your findings to the class

    4. look up 'environment crime ' on wikipedia' and see what new criminal justice organisations have developed over the past few years. then discuss the way that societies construct the concepts of new 'crimes' and b) new crime units - using environmental crimes as an example

    5. ask your mum and dad, or any one in an older generation, about things they never used to felt guilty about but do now, to illustrate how this new form of 'crime' has entered our social consciousness

    good luck with your report
