Windows OS Installer?

Can a Windows OS installer run if I put it on a flash drive? It's too expensive if I'm going to buy a cd and burn it.

Update:

Edit: I live in the Philippines that's why the blank cd here is expensive.

yes, and no. there are steps you can do to modify the .iso(cd image) file to add the usb drivers to you install and if your motherboard(or mainboard allows usb boots), it's complicated but there are good guides out there to give a shot. I'm not sure about vista, but xp, didn't have the usb drivers to start so it was hard, but like I said there are lots of guids, also you could install windows to your flash driver as well.

Genuine Windows always comes in a CD.

if u dont have one, you are using an illegal copy.

however, u can install windows on a flash drive.

you will still need the cd key.

but why not burn into a cd? it costs only 10 rupees, or 1$

    1) 1$ for a CD is too expensive?

    2) If your copy of windows is legal, you should have a CD already

    3) If your copy is illegal, then your answer can't be found here.
