Isn't it a bit early?

I have noticed a few stores (J.Crew, A&F, Hollister, Gap) already have shorts, swimsuits, sandals, etc. and all the winter stuff is moving towards clearance...

isn't it a bit early?

Shouldn't they wait until after Christmas at-least?

that does seem weird...i always remember that spring/summer stuff starts coming in around january, after Christmas...you would think they would try to sell that winter stuff before christmas...who is going to buy spring clothes for christmas presents?

They put summerwear up for the snowbirds who leave the cold, here, to go to warmer climates for the winter...
