How can I detach the legs of my Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table?

The instruction manual tells how to attach them. I am pulling really hard and they wont come off. Is there some trick I am not seeing? My 9 month old son would be able to play with it by himself (without me having to spot him) if I could just get the legs off! I was already on the phone (on hold) too long with their customer service

Apparently there are 2 versions of this toy, 1 that has legs that easily detach, the other does not. If your version has a purple door for the cubby on top then the legs detach as the other answers describe. If your table has a green door, stop looking for the button, its not there. I found the solution from a different web site

"we have just had the same issue!! its not easy but it can be done - with a flat head screwdriver!!... turn the table upside down, and look at the outside of the leg, you will see 2 very small notches, you need to get the blade of the screwdriver in the middle of the 2 notches and push in toward the centre. You will then feel the leg start to move slightly, so you can pull it out. The notches form a catch that clicks onto the table. I hope that makes sense"

I tried it and it works but it did ding up the plastic a little. Also, it works best with a wide flat head. The smaller flat head tries to push through the plastic. Hope this helps.

I have the same table and there should be little levers that slid to the side to remove the legs. Turn it over and right where they attach there should be a lever to detach them. Good Luck my son loves his and he is 6 1/2 months old.

Near the table part where the legs are attached are these little button-like things that you push in, and at the same time pull on the leg. They come off that way. I just tried on our table

Sorry I can't help with your question but I thought I'd share my laugh wit you.

Hope you get your question answered.
