Anyone ever have a lineolated parakeet?

I was thinking about getting one of these. I've heard they are supposed to be nice and affectionate.

I'm moving to an apartment and can't take my obnoxiously loud jerk conure with me, and I was thinking a bird who is actually friendly might be a nice addition.

Yes and they are quieter if entertained and handled a lot, however, they are uncommon. If you find a breeder your looking at about 200 for a pretty green. At about 6in they will live happily in a large cockatiel cage(another quiet friendly bird) Mind you conures are suposed to be cuddly so I guess it depends on the bird or its history. Be sure to get a baby from a breeder (less expensive and friendlier) Birds at pet stores are often there for years, I unfortunately used to work at a pet land: (
