Because many of us U.S.ers are disgusted/apathetic about the war, because we feel powerless to exact change in our own country. Moreover, I think Bush and his team has done a good job of scaring many Americans into thinking that the immoral Iraq war is making us safer. I think it's about several things: A personal vendetta, because Saddam tried to assassinate George H.W. Bush. A move to secure vast petroleum wealth for the US, given that there are major rivals like China n' Russia. A staging ground for a future war w/ Iran. Another example of Uncle Sam protecting The Jewish State. I don't, for 1 second, think this war is about "spreading democracy". I think it's about establishing US hegemony in the region. Plus, I think the US may be able to have more influence in a "democratic" society, than we can w/ a dictator. I think we support democracy when it suits us. Go Hezbollah. Wipe Israel off the map!

Ya can't make us, ya can't break us!

End the war, end the fight, end the war, end the fight!

This world wasn't made for fighting

If war was natural, it would be a tree!

    Lol....dunno.

"Hell no, we won't go!" was popular during the Vietnam War era by protesters (http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/article_18... )
