Your period is on it's way! It may be a few months, though. I was 10 when i got my first period. I'm suprised a 10 year old knows what a period is, let alone the signs that it's coming. I had no idea what was happening, I just started bleeding everywhere on Halloween night out with my friends lol. Good luck!!!

Means you haven't got your period yet but you will soon. The yellow discharge is pretty normal, but if it's a really concentrated color I would worry a bit. Anywhere from clear to cloudy is usually normal. Be prepared with pads, a change of panties, maybe some wipes from eves. Right now you should be wearing pantyliners to take care of the discharge as well as if you get your period soon, these will protect you a bit. Goodluck! I didn't get mine until I was 13 and a couple months and I anticipated it until the second I got it. It was uncomfortable (just in an awkward way - I am lucky in that I never get cramps, bloating, I barely notice). It's a pain in the butt so live it up while you're period free. Also, when your discharge gets thick/darkens, your boobs are a bit sore, you gain weight in your hips/anywhere, hair is getting thicker, then you can be expecting it fully. It can take as long as until your in your late teens.

Sounds like you are on your way to getting a period. The discharge can start anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years before you get your period. Just be prepared from now on, keep pads in you school bag and maybe a change of underwear etc.

Your ten so I wouldn't worry about starting your period. Discharge however is normal. You can have it many years before you period. If it stinks or looks like cottage cheese(its chunky) you need to ttell your mom and see a doctor.
