@There is historical fight amongst Muslims. Those who followed the instruction of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and followed Amirul Mo'menin Imam Ali a.s. as leader where called Shia of Imam Ali. Those who went for so called election amongst 10 their favorite people were called Sunni.
