I agree with the user above me, I will add a little bit to what the above user said. look you have to understand this we are talking this about 1300 years ago where people used to travel on horses and on camels. Back then there were no camera and there were a lot of people who didn't even know how Imam Hussein (R.A) looked like who belong to different cities....At that time the Shaba (R.A) did tried to convince the Imam Hussein (R.A) not to go and the Sahaba (R.A) told him that they are not to be trusted but he (R.A) made a promise and kept going towards Kufa and Karbala to keep his promise...and as Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) mentioned in his lifetime that it will happen and it had to happen...

Islam is alive after Karbala...

the lovers of Aal e Mohammad a.s were in a jail in KUFA ( about 5000 in which Messam e Tammar a.s was also included) when muslim bin Akeel arrived kufa!

when Hussain bin Ali a.s reached Karbala at 2nd moharram then ibn e ziad laeen put to the death to messam e tammar a.s, like it Mukhtar e Aal e Mohammad a.s was also in that jail.

so "advicing" Imam Hussain (as) was the only thing they could do?

and also, Imam Hussain (as) had sent Muslim ibn Aqeel (as) to Kufa first to recive Baya form tthe people, when Muslim ibn Aqeel (as) recived in kufa and when he got the bayats, he sent message to Imam Hussain (as) that people have given baya, so Imam Ali (as) set off towards Kufa, but then people broke their baya and killed Muslim ibn Aqeel (as), this news riched Imam Hussain (as) BUT Imam Hussain (as) stilled continued towards Kufa!!

why is that?

look at todays muslims(saudi's) ... how they wag their tails in front of america .. similarly when yazeed had power they used to be loyal to him for benefits.

sure imam Al -hassan (r.a ) and all ahl albyt were sunni and they did not worship graves like you.

even yazid never worship graves like shia .

They adviced Hussain (ra) AGAINST going to karbala, because the LAEEN SHIA of Kufa would betray him.

The two faced hypocrisy lying treachoury of the shia LAEN was WELL KNOWN to the Sahaabah (RAA) and therefore they adviced Hussain (ra) AGAINST going to them.

The LAEEN shia gave Hussain (RA) baya' and SWIFTLY left and abondaned him when the time gave for it.

The LAEEN SHIA have continued their practise of treachoury til this VERY DAY.

The Martyrdom of Husayn
