I am making a high-end budget PC for gaming and want it to last me a long while. This is my first build and I am pretty happy with it. If there are any incompatibility issues, please tell me bluntly, I can swallow my pride. If you know of any place to get components cheaper, please tell me.
CPU- Intel i7 920 Bloomfield $288.99
Motherboard- EVGA P55 SLI $139.99
Memory- Mushkin Enhanced Blackline (2X2gb) DDR3 7-7-7-20 $136.99 (will likely get another 4gbs next year)
Graphics Card- EVGA GTX 275 Co-op PhysX Edition $329.99
Hard Drive- Hitachi 1 TB HDD $79.99
Power Supply- Xion 1KW $95
DVD drive- LG 24x SATA Super-Multi DVD Burner $23.99
Case- NZXT Tempest- $89.99
Total: $1184.93
I am concerned the graphics card will not fit in a mid size case, I hear the Tempest is big but I hear the same about the card.

it can hold a GTX 295 which is the same size as the GTX 275 (10.5 inches).
